On Sunday 14th June 2026, the streets of St Albans will be buzzing with runners and walkers taking on the St Albans Half Marathon and 5k. Once again, Youth Talk will be there, taking part, cheering everyone on, and raising awareness for our local young people.
One of our brilliant counsellors, Katie, will be lacing up her trainers to run the Half Marathon, while our Operations Manager, Kaz, will be taking on the 5k walk. Both are incredibly passionate about Youth Talk and the life-changing support we provide to young people. They’d love nothing more than to be joined by supporters who want to get active, have fun, and raise vital funds together.
I believe in Youth Talk’s vision that every young person can talk to someone who can help them with whatever is worrying them, in an open and accepting way. The value of ‘stronger together’ resonates deeply with me: we truly listen, and we mean it. Through thoughtful, consistent support, we help young people feel seen, understood, and less alone, giving them the confidence to grow and flourish. Youth Talk makes a life-changing difference to so many young people, and that’s why I’m taking part in the St Albans Half Marathon: to raise vital funds and awareness for this incredible work.
